The Foundation receives many more applications than we are able to fund. For this reason, many requests, including those that are well aligned with our funding approach and areas, must be declined due to limited resources.
The Foundation typically invites 20-25 proposals per month.
Simply put, you can donate anything that has value. Notebooks, cellphones, vehicles, boats, aircraft, gemstones, real estate, intellectual property, antiques, collectibles, rv / campers, fractional interest in property, fine art, comic books and so on. many items will require valuation or appraisal.
Especially when valued over $5000.00. some by qualified appraiser.
Individuals, families, businesses and corporations are welcome to make contributions. Donors may contribute to an existing fund or set up their own fund to address issues that matter most to them. Donations may be in cash, securities, bequests, gifts of life insurance or real property.
We believe we can accomplish more by working together, so we will work collaboratively with other stakeholders to minimize duplication and maximize impact.
Make financial donations by check, bank transfer or credit card. These payment methods can help you keep record of your donations. We prefer that people give directly to our grantees, but from time to time, individuals generously offer to contribute money to Send Us Hope Foundation.
The Send Us Hope Foundation disburses donor contributions in alignment within the foundation’s programmatic objectives.
The Send Us Hope relies on the real world abilities and efforts of our many volunteers.
We are proud of the fact that we consistently exceed industry standards. We charity spends less than 10% of its funds on administration, with, on average, 90 cents of every dollar donated going directly to support our programs.
